How to Play
Play money only. Not real gambling. No real-money wagering.
What is the contest?
SportSimulate runs a free FIFA World Cup 2026 fantasy contest. You compete against other players using a fake bankroll — there is no real-money wagering and we are not a sportsbook. V1 focuses on pregame group-stage moneylines only.
How the fake bankroll works
When you join the contest you receive a starting play-money balance (for example, $10,000). Wins add to your balance; losses subtract from it. Your contest balance determines your standing on the money leaderboard.
Home, draw, or away
Each World Cup match offers three moneyline choices: home team to win, away team to win, or a draw. A draw is a normal selection — it is not a push. Pick the outcome you believe will happen before the match kicks off.
How payouts work
Bets use American odds. A negative line (e.g. -150) means you risk more to win $100 of profit; a positive line (e.g. +200) means you risk $100 to win $200 of profit. The bet slip shows your risk and potential winnings before you confirm.
How standings work
The leaderboard ranks players by contest balance (and shows W-L-T record where applicable). Voided bets from canceled or postponed matches are refunded and excluded from your record. Knockout-stage matches may require manual settlement in V1.
